| Like no other place in the world, the upper Amazon basin has a great diversity of plant and animal life as well as indigenous people. Our cruises are the best means to explore all of the incredible aspects of life along the Amazon River. The M/V Rio Amazonas carries 46 passengers in 20 air-conditioned cabins on an itinerary which explores life on the Amazon and its people. There is an ample deck area, both covered and uncovered, with comfortable chairs and hammocks, for a leisurely look at life on the river. There are one or more experienced, English speaking Guides/Naturalists on board and the ship carries its own shore boats for excursions. |
